EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Construction and woody debris will no longer be accepted at the Indian Creek Convenience Center in Pound, Virginia. Disposal of household waste is only allowed during operating hours and can no longer be dumped across from the convenience center. Signs and barriers have been put in place and the area is being monitored. Wise County has already begun enforcement for illegal dumping.
All construction debris or woody debris must be taken to the Blackwood Landfill or to another center that accepts such waste.
