The Wise County and City of Norton Clerk of Court’s Office seeks full-time Fiscal Clerk to support the Develop National Program. Fiscal Clerk’s responsibilities include the processing and posting of business transactions, reconciling general ledger accounts, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, processing expense reports, compiling tables of revenues and expenses, ensuring expenses meet federal OMB guidelines, and other tasks as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or equivalent, demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.

College credit may be obtained for working on a research
demonstration project relating to Geographical Information
System (GIS) applications through either UVa's
College at Wise or MECC.
