Administrative Assistant
Ms. Jessee is a Wise County native. She graduated from
J. J. Kelly High School in 1987 and attended Clinch Valley College
(now University of Virginia at Wise) from 1987 to 1989.
She has worked 13 years in a payroll and bookkeeping firm and
one year for a local bank in human resources. She is currently
married and has one daughter.

Ms. Lawson graduated from Coeburn High School
in 1977. She attended Mountain Empire where she received
her Associates Degree in Applied Science in Legal Assisting
in 2001. Ms. Lawson is married to Sgt. Louna Lawson of
Wise County Sheriff's Office. Mr. and Ms. Lawson have
three children. Her daughter attends UVA at Wise and her
sons attend St. Paul High School.

Director Victim/Witness Assistance Program
Vicky attended Cass Technical High School
in Detroit where she graduated in 1970. She later attended
Mountain Empire Community College where she graduated Summa
Cum Laude in 1990 with an AAS in Police Science. Ms. Wiandt
earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with Criminal Justice as
her major and Social Work as her minor in 1992. She is
currently working on her Masters in Criminal Justice at Radford
University and is expected to graduate in December of 2002.
Ms. Wiandt is currently the Director of Wise County and
the City of Norton's Victim/Witness Assistance Program.
Ms.
Wiandt is married with two children. She also serves as
an Advisory Member for the Law Enforcement Curriculum for Wise
County Voc/Tec School, Adjunct Professor in the Police Science
Program at MECC, President of Delta Omega Gamma local chapter
of the American Criminal Justice Association, Board Member of
Wise County Domestic Violence Task Force, and as a Board Member
in Communities Against Violence Effort.

Assistant Director Victim/Witness Assistance Program
Ms. Elkins graduated from High School in 1956 and received a
degree in 1958 in Business Administration. She has worked
as a Bookkeeper, Bank Teller, and as an Administrative Assistant.
Ms. Elkins is currently married with three children and six
grandchildren.
