on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of
Supervisors meeting room located in the Wise County courthouse.

RE: SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
Chairman
Peace advised that a special called meeting has been requested
by two Board members for the purpose of setting a public
hearing on October 14, 2004, regarding a loan application
to VRA for financing construction of the solid waste transfer
station, and purchase of certain related equipment and vehicles
for Sheriff's Dept, Litter Control, and Animal Control.

RE: PUBLIC HEARING / VRA FINANCING
A
motion was made by Leland Branham, seconded by Bob Adkins,
to set a public hearing on October 14, 2004 to receive citizens
comments regarding a loan application to VRA for funding
of the construction costs of the solid waste transfer station,
equipment for public works, and vehicles for the Sheriff's
Department, Litter Control, and Animal Control. The
motion was unanimously approved.
RECESS
A
motion was made by Bob Adkins, seconded by Robby Robbins,
to adjourn the meeting. The motion was unanimously
approved.
