The
Wise County Board of Supervisors meets on the
1st Thursday (Workshop) and
the 2nd Thursday (Regular) of each month at 6:00 PM in the J&DR Court / Board Meeting Room (Room 141) of the Wise
County Courthouse, Wise Virginia. These meetings
are open to the public unless a Closed Session is called
as allowed under the Virginia
Freedom of Information Act. The meetings are
broadcast by WISE-TV (PEG Channel) on ComCast Cable channel 19 and on InterMountain Cable channel 67 (WISE-TV"s Programming Schedule).
If you would like to speak to the Board, you can speak during the designated Public Expression period as indicated in the Meeting Agenda (each individual is alloted a maximum of 5 minutes).
The Supervisors' agenda for each meeting can usually be accessed here by the end of business every Monday prior to a regularly scheduled meeting.
